Laura obtained her Law Degree with honours from the University of Warwick, in the United Kingdom in 2006. She then joined the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn and was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2007. Jamella received her Law Degree with honours from the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom in 2003. She became a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2003 and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2004. In 2005-2006 she embarked on the six month conversion course at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago thereby acquiring her L.E.C. She was admitted to the Bar of Barbados in 2006 and began her private practice of law in both non-contentious and litigious matters in the High Court and Court of Appeal of Barbados, The Assizes and the Caribbean Court of Justice. She has served as an active member of the Barbados Bar Association from 2006 to 2008 and is currently a member of the Child Care Board of Barbados. |
